St. Boniface Hospital is always looking for opportunities to improve the patient’s experience. Volunteers have the opportunity to help improve processes and guide decisions that will have a lasting impact on patient care during improvement activities with Hospital staff.

Daytime, evening, and weekend volunteer opportunities
(Please note: we have limited opportunities during evenings and weekends)

Proceeds from sales are directed to the Hospital’s Auxiliary, which supports patient care. Volunteers are required to take the Manitoba Lotteries online training course.

Volunteers are encouraged to visit and interact with patients while providing this service. Library assistants sort and prepare book and magazine donations for distribution and for placement in the Patient/Staff Library.

Newspaper Delivery
Newspaper volunteers deliver complimentary newspapers to patients early weekday and Saturday mornings. This is a great opportunity to explore the Hospital while following a designated route and interact with patients at the bedside.
